Article VI - Officers
Section 1.
The elected officers of this Association shall be the President, three or more
Vice-Presidents, Executive Secretary, Treasurer, PRO and Auditor, eleven
members of the Board of Directors in which the chairman of the Board will
be voted upon by the elected LIA Board of Directors and LIA Advisers.

Article VII - Election
Section 1. Directors
The election of members of the Board of Directors shall be done through
the internet/correspondence prior to the start of the administration year.
The administration year shall begin the first day of January. Election date
shall be November 30.
Section 2. Officers
The Officers shall be elected through the internet/correspondence prior to
the start of the administration year. The administration year shall begin the
first day of January. Election date shall be November 30.
Section 3. Term of Office
The elected officers shall have a term of two years following their assumption
of office in January 1st of each term. The LIA elected officers shall serve for
two years from assumption of duties and until their successors have been
elected and installed.

Article VIII - Meetings
Section 1. Membership Meeting
A minimum of three (3) general membership meeting shall be held during the
administration year through the internet.
Section 2. Special Meeting
Special meeting may be called by the President or upon petition signed by
at least three members of the Board. In the event of a tie vote, the President
shall cast the deciding vote.

Section 3. Quorum
A quorum at the membership meeting for the transaction of business shall be
10% of the membership of the Association. A quorum of the Board of Directors
shall be a majority vote.

Section 4. Procedure
The rules of procedure in Robert’s Rules of Order Revised shall be used in the
conduct of business of the organization in all cases which are not covered by
the Articles of Incorporation and By-laws.

Article IX – Committees
Section 1.

Membership
Projects
Solicitation and Awards
Education
Nomination/Election

Section 2. Committee Chairman
The Chairman of all committees shall be appointed by the President.
