Article X Amendments
The Articles of Incorporation may be amended by a
two thirds vote of the
members at any regular or special meeting. Amendments
must be
proposed in writing over the petition of ten members
and presented to
the Board of Directors. Notification of the vote on
a proposed
amendments must be given to the entire membership
at least thirty (30)
days in advance by the Board of Directors.

LAWS
Article I Membership
Section 1. Admission to Membership
Any person desiring membership in this organization
shall submit to the
membership committee a completed form accompanied
by the dues
for the current year.
Section 2. Acknowledgement of Membership
The membership committee shall notify the applicant
of his/her status upon
recommendation of acceptance of the application.
Article II Eligibility of Directors and Officers
Any candidate for any position shall be a member of
LIA in good
standing.
Article III - Annual Dues
Annual family membership dues for all members shall
be fifty (50)
dollars and two hundred (200) pesos for Philippine
residents.
Article IV Duties of the Board of Directors/Advisers
Section 1. Chairman of the Board
1.1 Shall preside at all meetings of the Board of
Directors.
He/She shall communicate to the President the policies
and actions of the
Board.
Section 2. Board of Directors
2.1 Continously monitor activities of the Association
to assure that policies
are being observed .
2.2 Responsible for approval of any projects.
2.3 Shall have the power to make any rules and regulations
not inconsistent
with the LIAs purpose and objectives.
2.4 The Board of Directors may cause the removal and
replacement of any
officers and members for failure to fulfill his/her
responsibilities upon a
majority vote of the entire Board.
Section 3 Advisers
3.1 Acts in advisory capacity and participates in
the deliberations.
3.2 Participate in activities to further the purpose
and functions of the Association.
3.3 Shall be comprised of past Presidents and other
members who are recognized
in their field of endeavor and resource persons who
demonstrated interest in
furthering the goals of the Association.
Article V - Duties of Executive Officers
Section 1. President
The President shall be the Chief Executive officer
of the association and shall subject
to the supervision of the LIA Board of Directors.
Have general and active control of
the association and its business and general supervision
over its officers, committee
chairperson and members.
Section 2. Vice-President
The Vice-President shall perform the duties and responsibilities
and exercise the
powers of the President, and to the extent authorized
by LIAs articles of
incorporation and bylaws. He or she shall hold meetings
in his or her assigned
area of jurisdiction.
Coordinates with other organizations, civic or governmental
in the area. Reports
directly to the President of the association.
Section 3. Executive Secretary
The Executive Secretary shall become the spokesperson
of the President in all
matters relating to the Libsong International Association
(LIA). Follows-up matters
pending with the Board of Directors.
Is responsible for all incoming and outgoing correspondence
related to the
association either through mails or e-mails.
He or she shall have custody of the record books of
the association, including the
e-mail addresses/ telephone numbers of the members
of the Board of Directors.
Section 4. Treasurer
The Treasurer shall have custody of all funds, property
and securities of the
association, subject to such regulations as maybe
imposed by the LIA Board
of Directors. When ever necessary or proper, he/she
may endorse on behalf
of the association for collected checks, notes and
other obligations and shall
deposit the same to the account of the association
at such banks or depository
as the Board of Directors, may designate. He/she shall
sign all receipts and
vouchers and together with such other officer or officers,
if any, as shall be
designated by the Board of Directors, co-sign all
checks of the association
and all bills of exchange and promissory notes issued
by the association and
open joint bank accounts for the association. He/she
shall make such entry
regularly on the books of the association to be kept
by him/her for the purpose.
Full and accurate account of all moneys and obligations
received and paid or
incurred for the account of the association, and shall
exhibit such books at all
reasonable times for audit.
